on my home & office machine as well as at least one friends it seems to
decide to hang up after someone logs on.
all of the machines as setup to have IM login on boot, and they do.
to the best of our knowledge nothing in the setup tells IM to disconnect

i bought a new ibm last week, did the windows messenger
upgrade and my contacts do not appear correctly...deleted
contacts have returned to my list with the properties of
current contacts and not all of my contacts are displayed

I don't use messenger and I get a pop up conversation
every time I start up.  This is software I don't want but
I can't get rid of it. How do I get rid of the popup
and/or get rid of messenger altogether?

I would like to save some MSN display pictures of my friends. Please tell me
