I can't get this function to operate.  I am able to send an
invitation over the Internet to another Windows XP user
running an uptodate version Windows Messenger.  That person
can then reply by accepting my invitation.  But them,

I can no longer communicate with another computer whose operating system is me.  My system is XP.  I have uninstalled and deleted messenger both 6.2 and 4.7 and also netmeeting.  I have reinstalled one then the other but cannot reinstall netmeeting as it says it is not compatible ...

this worked fine.  Now when I start a session I can't see the person I

Why do I get these "error" messages
"Signing in to .Net Messenger Service failed because the password is

and it is the same sign in name that has always existed before.
