i've just bought a new pc ( XP home ) & am using linksys
router which connects to the internet through a non-UPNP

Windows Messenger will not save my .NET password even when I check the box in the sign in dialog that sets it up to save the password.  
I have Messenger set to open when I log in to Windows and to sign in automatically.  It doesn't do this.  I have to manually sign in each time.  ...

I was having this wait/hourglass come up every 2 minutes next to my cursor. I got fed up with it. I removed every instance of Messenger from my computer including removing and deleting the folder out of Program Files. Am I toast? Please advise.

Last two weeks or so, I found that when I start voice chat
on MSN Messenger, for some reason my router is jamed. I
