I was having problems with Messenger 4.7 and removed it using Add/Remove Programs as well as the RUN command that was posted on this forum. Messenger removed without any problem. Instead of reloading 4.7, I loaded 5.0. Everything seems to be running ok. After reading another post ...

I can login to Windows Messenger with no problems, but when I goto chat with someone I get disconnected. It tells me that I cannot chat because I am not online and I have to signin again and it happens all over again. Any ideas?

Mine does the same as others here. 4.7.3000 does not have the Add-In on the Tools menu anymore where you could download the msnaddin.exe file and make 4.7 more like MSN Messenger. It also does not prompt you to install it anymore. Does anyone know if you can just apply msnaddin ...
