I recently tried to install MS Messenger 5.0. I thought the installation went

After installing Skype (an internet telephony program) on my computer I was
no longer able to accept calls for NetMeeting from MSNmessenger. Before Skype
Netmeeting would open normally when I was asked to accept a NetMeeting call.

Messanger seems to constantly log me off. my computer is
behind the corporate firewall running XP.  
Any idea why i keep getting logged off?

When I am offline I cannot open e_mails of yahoo (which
is saved in my system ) by explorer, but with text
editors such as Frontpage. What is the reason/solution?

Have been receiving emails, but unable to send emails.

Can anyone help me with this problem please.After I
downloaded the new windows service pack updates,it seems
to have remoer ActiveX.When i'm in voice in msn messenger
my voice is breaking up, I can also hear some words

when my computer comes out of standby messanger tells me
that I have been signed out on my computer because I have
been signed in on another computer. There is no other
computer that I know of that has my information to sign in

I've installed and repaired the latest version of
Messenger but can't get it to work. 4.7 was still fine
when I ran it just but not 6.2. The error dialogue box
says something about the connection or service. But

both of us have working camera's but when I go to open a
webcam it comes up with 'my invitation cannot be sent as
they are using a version of msn that doens't support the
feature'

Any reason why I have two copies of messenger open at startup?
In my system tray there are two copies of messenger.  One is automatically
signed in, the other is not.  I don't want two copies to open at start up.  
How do I remove a copy of messenger and how do I make sure I remove ...

Both myself and my friend upgraded our machines the same day to XP Pro SP2
release.  We both had been running Messenger v4.7 and having voice
conversations without any problems.  We BOTH use the same router - a Linksys
withPort Forward Range open from 1024 to 65535 for UDP ...

Strange problem!
When msn logs in it hangs! My contacts appear but then I
have to do "end task". Allready reïnstalled 6.2, deleted
everything in the registry but keeps crashing!

I cannot hold a video conference using MSN Messenger
V6.2, and it's probably because I am behind a LinkSys
BEFSR41 V3 router/firewall. Do I need to forward certain
ports? And if so, which ports (TCP/UDP)?

When I Sign In to .Net Messenger Service the emailaddress window is a drop
down list of what looks like every Messenger user who has ever signed in on
the machine plus a few others. I would like to edit this list and delete the
obsolete names. Where will I find the list to edit it?
