I normally use v.6.2. I was given to understand that Windows Messenger comes in a bundle with Windows (in my case XP Home). I have just disabled v.6.2 from my start-up menu so I can load up manually. But I have a problem.

| Windows Messenger 4.7.3000 & Windows XP SP2 | 23 Aug 2004 20:04 GMT | 6 |
I just reloaded my system with Windows XP that had SP2 slipstreamed into the CD. I noticed that version of Windows Messenger changed from 4.7.2009 to 4.7.3000. Also you can't install the MSN Add-In to get e-mail alerts. Anyone else having the same problem? TIA, Greg
