I never use Messenger on my laptop but thanks to Jonathan, I was able to adjust it so that it's in the background & Remote Assistance etc won't be affected.

Hi, I was using windows messenger to do a voice connection with a friend and
it was working great, then I installed msn messenger and now the voice
connection doesn't work.  What happened?

I get this box and message when I connect to the
internet:MSMGS.EXE Unable to locate conponent
This application has failed to start because wbemcomn.dll
was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this

Windows Messenger is missing on my system.
It is set to start when windows start.  I have checked
the start-up menu and it is there, however, it does not

We each have our own adresses but no one can sign in to
msn.It says incorrect password  and user name and these
have been used for the past 2 yrs. Down loaded messenger
6.2 and still no luck. Don't want to change adreseses.
