when removing programs, i.e. Webshots ( I was told this
has spyware, is this true?), I removed it via add/rem
programs.  However, when I do a search of
files "Webshots" afterward, some files show  up.  Is it

I have icon for messenger 4.7 right but my question is how do get to put
messenger 6.2 in the standard toolbar?  In the customize it won't appear only
the 4.7.

when i had SP1, i logged into windows messenger using my hotmail account. if
i had received e-mail in that account, i could simply click the "check
e-mail inbox" link on the windows messenger screen and it would take me to
my hotmail inbox. NOW, i have SP2 and when i try the same ...

After installing sp2 I noticed when opening outlook
express the Windows Messenger icon appears in the system
tray for a second and then it disappears - I
have  "automatically log onto windows messenger"

Running Windows XP Professional and Office XP Professional.  After loading
SP2, Windows Messenger no longer automatically logs on to Internet when I
start Internet Explorer.  I use a 56k modem to connect to the Internet with
Internet Explorer.  Also using Money 2004.

I thought at first that it was SP2 that caused Messenger to stop logging on
automatically, but I think it is the netframwork update that is causing
this.

Can someone tell me where I can download full version of Windows Messenger
V4.7? I had downloaded it and file name is "MMSSETUP" and file size only
968K. I tried to install it but I get "some .NET component missing" and I am
unable to log in.

The 'send a file to...' dialog box within MSN Messenger 6.2 does not seem to
allow a shift click nor a control click method for selecting multiple files
at the same time.

I just replaced a bad hard drive. The reinstall went very
well, that is until I started having issues with Windows
XP Messenger. I have used the .net service for a while,
with the addon for checking my hotmail account. However,
