My Windows Messenger keeps signing me in everytime that I
connect to the internet. I went to "tools" then looked
under everything to see if there was something I could
click on to stop it from signing me in automatically...no

Is there a way to make MSN Messenger require me to enter my username and
password every time I start it so that it does not automatically log me in?
My children use my comp alot and I do not want them using my MSN account.

function?  I don't use Messenger, don't know what it is
and don't want to be bothered with the thing asking if I
want to update the version EVERY DAY... thanks

     I'm using Windows Messenger on Windows2003 Server. For some reason,
whenever I am working in a Remote Desktop window, my status is automatically
set to "busy." When I click out of the Remote Desktop window, my status
moves back to "Online"... Is this a known bug? Is there a ...

I have changed all the settings that I know about in Messenger and Outlook
Express so that when I check my email Messenger does not logon in the
background.  The problem is that it does it anyway.  I do not want Messenger
to logon unless I start the program myself, especially NOT ...

I recently installed WinXP Home Edition. And the MSN
Messager 4.7 came with it. I downloaded the lastest
edition of MSN. And now I have both versions. I'm unable
to uninstall the 4.7 version, so now I have 2 versions.

I am receiving a message that my MSN Messenger is signed
in to another computer.  I only have one computer.  I
just started to experience this problem today (9-23-04).  
I have deleted (unistalled) messenger because I'm so

Iam unable to upgrade to the new messenger (not so new
now) When I upgrade it leaves the older version on the
system and I cant delete it, so both messengers start up.
Any ideas?
