I using MSN6.2 in windows 2000 and windows xp pro.
sharing sbc_dsl with dlink wireless router.
I met the same problem on both pcs.
internet browser are normal, but cannoe log on to msn

when I load messenger I get an error
message "windows\system32\shdock.dll\navcan......" cannot
be found.
Can i reinstall this file?

I use win xp home edition and just upgraded from Windows Messenger 4.7 to
5.0.  I wished I hadn't upgraded it.
1)  I guess there is no way to uninstall 5.0 and re-install v4.7. I cannot
find neither Messenger in my Control Panel's "add/delete programs".

opening in outlook.

Messenger now back to normal,many thanks, is there now
away to reinstall if required? As its now disappeared.

I've set MSN to go into 'away' after 10 minutes but it doesn't. This is
compounded by the fact that my connection occasionally drops and I come
back online as online.
Can anyone help?

When I try to send an attachment with Windows Messenger, I get the following
message:
"Sending of 'DG.jpg' to Joe Doe has failed."
This message appears on the receiving computer:

Are there any plans to increase the number of contacts that one can track in
MSN Messenger? The current limit is 150, I believe.

ive searched around and havent been able to find anything, what i want
to find is a registry setting for changing the msn messenger 6.2 mail
button..... with hotmail account it opens hotmail, with my gmail
account(linked with .net passport) opens outlook express....... I was

My understanding is that this file, msmsgs.exe, is Windows
Messenger.  I have "disabled" and "stopped" this program
using Start/Run/services.msc/Services/Messenger and yet it

I am very annoyed about the verify address box that pops

I lost count of how long I have waited for SP2, because I was told that it
would address my voice problems, and many others too, I am not alone.
OK.  SP2 now installed.  Trying once again.  Here is the deal, when trying to
talk with a friend, I can hear him, my meter moves for me ...

everytime i accept a file to be transferred, it will
start connecting, but then it will say that i've declined
it when i haven't. plz help.
