starts and I've unchecked the MSN choice in my Norton

Does anyone have a preference between NetMeeting and MSN Messenger for video
conferencing?  Net Meeting won't run at all on my XP version, but I know
people who prefer it.  Is there a way to modify XP to accommodate NetMeeting?

I recently upgraded to the Windows XP service pack 2.  Ever since then, my
messenger hasn't been working to log me into my hotmail account.  Originally
it brought me to my outlook express mail.  I changed my settings to have
Hotmail as my default and now when I sign in and click ...

My MSN Messenger contacts go into Outlook Express and how
do I remove them. I went to Tools, Options, and unchecked
Automatically logon to Windows Messenger. That is
unchecked but since I'm using MSN Messenger I didn't know

I have just had Windows XP installed and can't get rid of
the messenger 4.7 icon in the tray or get it to stop

The audio of my msn messenger 6.2 doesn't work for a long time. I tried to
reinstall the program, and it is still not working. I tested the networking
with netmeeting, but the net meeting worked well. Does anybody know what's

Dumb question i know, but how do you change the email
address that it logs in with? It automatically picks up
on one address when i would really prefer to use another
as 'default' on this machine.

Perhaps MSN Messenger can't do some of the things that Windows Messenger can,
but it's much better in my opinion.  After I installed SP2, I couldn't send or
receive files with WM; nor was I alerted when I got a Hotmail message.  Also, it
was impossible to disconnect WM and keep it ...

I just installed XP sp2 and enabled the firewall everything is working great
except my Messenger 5.0.   I am strictly working with in my company not

Okay. Now here's the problem:
For a few months now, I have had to use trillian because i have been having
problems with MSN messenger (all versions).  What is happening is that

Net Messenger comes on at start up.  I don't want it to.  
I have run an msconfig - I have run msmsgs and it was
already unchecked to "run at startup" - and also I went
through the Norton Anti-Virus and unchecked it there.

Hello.  Can someone please tell me how to remove MSN
Messenger from my computer?  I have tried deleting it
from the program files, but it won't let me...I have
removed it from the startup , but it always comes on
