Can I do video conferencing on a Mac with MSN Messenger if I have a
web cam or with some other program? Or is Windows Messenger on a
PC the only way you can do video conferencing with a web cam?

I've been recently told that Microsoft logs all chat messages from MSN
Messenger to their servers, to accomplish US Laws. Where can I  find more
info on this law ? Thanks.

Hi, I cannot access my hotmail messages via Messenger and
when te page is done, this appears in the direction bar:

I can only view my emails via Outlook Express- Why is

saying that i have opted out to sign out of my net
messenger because i signed in at another location. what

Hi.  I'm running WM (Windows Messenger) 5.0.  Is there a way to create (or
actually add custom) emoticons in WM like you can in MSN Messenger?
Also, I have a friend who's using MSN Messenger and has created/added their
own personal emoticons.  These custom emoticons don't show up ...

Can connect audio, video when other user not transmitting back to me (eg has
no cam or just using speakers) but wont connect two way. think security
issue. possibly connected with recent micosoft service pack 2, or my firewall.

Recently, I have been having problems communicating with
my girlfriend in Spain. I am from the UK. Both of us use
home DSL connections, and MSN Messenger version 6.2. The
problem started around the 6th October (about 1 week now)

on an offlibe and a online roups its one big group and it
shows whos online in relation what trheir name is to the

whenever i click 'my email inbox' in messenger it opens outlook express...i
dont want it to do that since i dont use outlook. it used to open my hotmail
inbox for me. what can i do to change this? thanks!

Help, i type a message in while in a private conversation and its fine, but
when i press send it freezes for 4-5 secs then updates the conversaton to
show ur message. any suggestions on how to fix it?

I can connect with others pc this way, but there is a specific pc that give

"Remote Assistance connection could not be established because the remote

Help! I've just upgraded to XP and don't want Windows
Messenger. It's not listed under "Services"
in "Administrative Tools" nor is in "Add/Remove
programs". I have MSN Messenger, which I prefer to use.
