I would like to disable the "open messenger main window when messenger starts" but it is grayed out. I would like messenger to ask me for the password as opposed to just clicking on "sign in" and it opens MSN IM.

It is not the MSN Messenger that is giving me the problem, it is the Windows Messenger. It kept signing in automaticly, bumping me out of MSN Mes. Windows Messenger was not in the add/remove files. So I thought

I have been unable to allow remote access to my computer. I have windows xp professional and my friend Dan has windows xp home edition. However, when I "ask" him for remote assistance (via msn messenger), we are unable to connect. What gives?
