I have read in the past that administrator priveleges are re­quired
for Windows Messenger to do its UPnP thing and deal with dynamic­ port
assignments.  Is that still true with SP2/WM5.1?
The reason I ask is that if I use the "Internet Connection" ­applet

I started using Windows Messenger that day, and tick "autostart with
Windows"(translated) and "run in background"(translated).
Now, the Messenger automatically login in the background everytime I start

The messenger doesn't work with audio.  everytime I try

I want to know as to what bitrate is used by Windows Messenger for the Video
with H.261 & H.263 Video Codecs.
This information is not being sent in the SDP  (in fmtp attribute). Is there
ant defaule value used by Messenger for the same.

I have been upgrading MSN Messenger since purchasing
Windows XP however have been unable to remove the initial
Messenger program.  I have upgraded to Messenger 7.0 Beta
and each previous version could be uninstalled but the

After being logged in for about an hour or so, Messenger
will automaticly log me out. Any open discussion will be
greyed out, saying "You can't post because you are not
