i was using the 6.2 version, i downloaded the 7.0 version
which didn't work.  I uninstalled it. but now the 6.2
version won't work, only the 4.7 version will.

I RECENTLY GOT DSL AND SINCE THEN I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS GETTING INTO MY
HOTMAIL, AS WELL AS MY MESSENGER GOING OFF BY ITSELF AN LITERALLY
THROWING MY CONNECTION OFF TO THE POINT WHERE I HAVE TO MANUALLY
RECONNECT.  IT'S LIKE I CAN'T USE MY HOTMAIL AN MESSENGER AT THE SAME

When using Messenger 6.2 from behind a router with inbuilt NAT firewall I
cannot sign on - The PC just sits there after I click sign-in - without the
router/firewall all is OK. This is on 2 seperate PCs, both less than 12
months old and both on XP Home, 1 with SP2 one without.

In the sign on box for different uses a drop down box appears with e-mail
addresses of all the different uses who have signed into messenger. Can
someone explain to me how I delete the e-mail addresses that appear in the
drop down box in the sign on box.

Hi MSN gurus... and Happy New Year
I've written to Microsoft support 5-6 times last year and no help so
far. The problem is that I suddenly lost the ability to block users who
added me (and 5 to 10 would attempt to add me daily), or add those who I

over the last year or so, there have been a few people access their ms
from my pc. Their accounts remain on my msn sign in drop down (eve
