I was wondering how to get windows messenger to auto signin when the pc is rebooted. I installed MSN 6.2 messenger but then removed it. Now windows messenger from SP2 doesn't auto sign-in. Anyone know the fix for this? It would be nice if I could have windows messenger always ...

I just upgraded XPSP1 to SP2 and found that after launching msn messenger 4.6.2009, the mail option is missing. There is usually a link at the top of msn showing how many new messages you have. For some reason it is gone! Ive googled this with no luck!

I have an icon in my Explorer that came from the older installation of MSN Messenger. I've since upgraded to 6.2 but the icon in IE does not activate it. I beliee it's the icon from the old installation. I can only launch 6.2 from the Start Menu or a shortcut.

Uninstalled MSM and installed Windows Messenger 5.1. Now 5.1 will not start - the menu option is there under programs etc but when you click on it nothing happens. Re-installed 5.1 and re-bboted PC but no avail? Anyone had this issue?
