When attempting to sign on to WM I get a notice that a new
version is available and I must install to continue. I do
so and it appears to install.  Then a pop up asks me to
install Windows XP Hotfix (kb887472).  This does not seem

I was told that the msn messenger service was to be shut down for 24 hours

i installed msn messenger 6.2 to get the error code as
you suggested and it was 0x81000365. i then proceeded to
click on the troubleshooter which said "troubleshooter
has determined that you may not have internet

I used WindowsMessager. When tranceiving some files between windows messager
and MSN messager, I often got a failure notice. Why? And we are all closed
firewall.

In MSN there are two options "Activities" and "Games" but when i chose them
the message appear trying to connect to the service and nothing happens.
Once this options worked.

Last week I downloaded and installed the new 6.2
Messenger for MSN and now it won't recognize my filter
settings except to junk everything!  Is anyone else
experienceing this?  I've set and reset them, nothing.

How do I "verify my address"?  It says to go to my inbox
for a message to verify but when I go to my email I do
not have any messages to address this issue.  It is very
possible I did get one long ago and deleted it not

How do I force  MSN Messenger and Window messenger to prompt for a password
every time it is launched. It does not sign in automatically, but it only
asks for a password if I click "sign in as different user".

Hey, this just started happening yesterday.  
First, I could sign on, but couldn't check my e-mail.
After I signed off, I couldn't sign back on and got this
