I can't find MS Messenger in my Add/Remove window. I'd like to uninstall the messenger completely, as I do not use it and I keep getting "Information" messages prompting me to install updates. How do I un-install?

Recently my windows messenger client has been signing me out for no reason. In the sys tray it looks like I'm signed in but when I go to instant message someone I have sign in again. Any help?

I downloaded Windows Messenger 4.7, it uninstalled 5.1, after 4.7 was re-installed, I was able to install the MSN Add-In and I now can get my E-mail alerts and other things with Windows Messenger, just like MSN Messenger 6.2.
