This topic has been around for years, but I have not seen a solution.
Messenger will "silently" disconnect on a regular basis - every hour on
average. By silently, I mean that the Messenger window at the client
indicates the online status, and displays other users as signed in -

I have installed Logitech "Quickcam" and when contacting
people via Windows messenger I can always make video
contact but no sound. Self tested at both ends, all fine.
Can anyone help please?

How can I delete names from the "sign in under a different name" box. A few
of my freinds have signed in to messenger on my pc, and there address's are
still in the drop down box. I would like to remove them.

Every time I open Outlook Express I get a nag box from Windows Messenger
about an old e-mail account that I no longer have. It tells me to check that
e-mail so I can logon but as I said I dont have access to that account any
more. How do I change meesenger to an e-mail I do have?

   I have a contact on my list that I have blocked and
when I try to remove them it tells me that I was not able
to login and then will kick me out of Windows Messenger.

to add message histories just like what is available in MSN Messenger.

I cannot get all of the games to work in MSN Messenger
6.2. For example Tic Tac Toe Classic works, but Tic Tac
Toe doesn't. The error comes up saying "Tic Tac Toe is
unavailable at this time. Please try again later".
