When I try to update my msn messenger it says error 1601 go to msn messenger website to download. I have done this and still get same error message. What can I do to fix this?

I am a regular reader of this group and appreciate the solutions you recommend to various Windows Messenger and MSN Messenger problems. However I have observed that whenever somebody has an audio problem you do not offer any suggestion or solution. I wonder why.

I need to find out if it is possible and how to send IM to a group (multiple users) in Windows Messenger. Currently, I don't see this capability and may be it's because I am not familiar using Windows Messenger. Your help is greatly appreciated.
