What is the diff. between the two IM systems?  I just had
my system updated from win98se to winxp home sp2 and I
find both windows messenger v.4.7.3001 and MSN messenger

after installing sp2 my windows messenger takes me to outlook express e-mail
by default i dont use it never have never will. it used to take me to
hotmail. have tried setting as default didnt work

i use windows messenger  and when i shut it off i ecpect it to stay off but
it dosnt. no matter how i set it  ,it wont stay off i try shutting it off
with the taskmanager and that works for about 30 seconds .then pop there it
