Hello, When i change my status on the exchange 2000 im, it does not change for other users. I deleted the im database and restarted exchange but same result. any suggestions? thanks

Is there a way to stop the receiving of sounds when I get a message and am set as away? e.g. Windows Messenger automatically sets me as away after 5 mins of inactivity. Someone messages me and I receive a loud sound notifying me even though I am set as away.
