I have installed Windows messenger 4.5 and adjusted video and microphone but whener I try to use them it appears "Internet Explorer has detected a problem and it will go out" and then it takes me off of the messenger

Hello Jonathan, I build and repair computer (many, many hundreds since Windows XP came out) and seldom ever post here for my own assistance. I have an ongoing problem/condition with one computer. Comically, it is one of my own.

I have the lates msn messenger 7 beta and it supposed to be able to sign in under a different status than online, for example "busy". I have not seen that option though... any ideas?

In the drop-down menu for the login account, it added an unwanted account. How do you remove this from the list and only have the one that is to be used? Thank You

I just installed windows service pack 2. since I have done this, windows messenger alerts me of e-mail in my outlook express account, but no longer in hotmail. Can I change this back to how it used to be? and get notified when I have hotmail?
