Can you change the orange colour on alerts? I've tried
unchecking the Display Alerts when message is received box
but it makes no difference even when I close Messenger and
start it up again.

Last few days when logging in to MS Messenger 6.2 I no longer am
notified of e-mail messages in my hot mail box. Even thought it show 0
email  when I click on it or log into my hot mail account there is new
mail. Anyone else run into this.

I need to write a script using html, javascript and vbscript to show my
colleagues' messenger state in a web page. Are there any codes that fulfil
the following criteria?
1. Show the state of my colleagues even without logging into Messenger.

Just a warning that a virus has been spreading around
messenger. Random files are being sent from contacts to
user. Some of the file names are called:

i got a virus that i got from someone else through msn messenger. It always
tries to send itself to other people through msn messenger. it has slowed my
pc down a bit and i was wondering if you guys could help me out!!!!!!

Msgr 5.1 was working fine until after I uninstalled a display driver and
Colorific.  I downloaded Msgr 5.1 again and ran Repair.  This fails with the
error below. Any help most appreciated!  Running XP SP2 with latest updates.

This error pops up when i attempt to sign in to messenger.
I can not log on to MSN eplorer either from my pc, any

Just to say i have downloaded MSN 7, beta and i can now
audio no problem.. Before this i had MSN 6.2 and have
never been able to audio, had to use windows messenger or
yahoo!!.....this is using Xp with all updates, a router

Is it possible to run both Windows and MSN messenger at the same time? I was
looking at setting up LCS2005 and was going to have users use the windows
messenger tied to there work email, problem is some users already are using

I have xp sp2 and since upgrading cant view webcam on msn messenger 6.2
Trys to load but then seem to time out. sits there for a while then fails to
load.
Is this some kind of firewall problem?
