The new version, does not seem to want to do the video with earlier
versions!!!  Is this true, or is it just me????

Just downloaded and installed windows messenger 5.1 and now when I right
click on the icon in system tray and choose "my email inbox" it goes to my
outlook express inbox instead of my hotmail inbox (webpage).  How to make it
go to hotmail again?

I found a popup message from time to time. Later I saw that one of the
system services called "Messenger" was automatically started and this
enabled the messages to popup.

I am using XP PRO and MSN Messenger Beta 7.  I use messenger often for
voice and video calls on a different machine and wanted to do the same
on this one.
I have installed UPNP and the Gateway functionality and see the services

I am new to all this!....I have succesfully installed a webcam to my laptop
and am trying to use it with msn messenger.
The instant message works but I cannot see or receive sound or picture.
I think it may be due to my firewall but am unsure of how to get around it.
