When i start the brand new version of MSN 7.0 it logs me in but hangs after a few sec. I have reenstalled it several times without any improvement. Win XP. Thanks for any help.

Good afternoon! While i was using the 6.2 messenger i had no problem, but when i installed the new version ( 7.0 ) i cant use it no more.... The only thing i can do is singin' in, but as soon as i enter to principal window, the program freezes

Does anyone know if it is possible to block an entire group within msn messenger (currently using the new v7 release)? eg. rather than having to click on each name in the group to block them, is it possible to block a whole group of contacts (eg. block 'friends' whilst at work, ...

I've recently installed MSN Messenger 7.0 and Messenger Plus 3.50.124. Unlike others on this NG everything is functional, all I wish to do it turn off the Ad Banner at the bottom. Unless I have overlooked something there does not appear to be a toggle anywhere.

every time i use my computer i get boxes popping up telling me a) windows messenger 5.1 is installing (which i did not prompt) and then another telling me an installation package for windows messenger 5.1 cannot be found and to try using a valid copy of the installation pkg ...

For the last few months I've been using MSN Messenger 6.2 and it's always worked fine. Last night I downloaded MSN Messenger 7.0 but I have a problem signing it.

God ... MSN Spaces has to be the most confusing thing I've run across so far for a web service. Still not even sure what the point is? Have no idea of what URL to give out etc. etc. Anyone care to fill me in?

can anyone tell me why msn messenger 7.0 constantly comes up with service not available and on 6'2 kept telling me password was incorrect when can log into hotmail or even web messenger ok?
