I have been using the latest version of ms messenger (v7) to communicate with
a friend
It had some great new features such as a one click button to get to a 'video
conference' (you didnt have to connect camera and sound independantly) and

I do not have a camera or a mike. I am looking for a way to convert text to
speech while using messenger. I would like to listen instead of reading. Any
ideas?

Using MSN M 7, I cannot accept or invite a Video or Voice chat - messenger
just disappears & the system tray icon vanishes.
I have tried an un/re install without success.

I cannot get application sharing to work in messenger 7. I always get the
message SIP timed out. All other functions in messenger work (file sharing,
audio, video etc). UPnP is enabled on the routers at each end of the comms.
Both networks are running MS SBS 2003 with XP ...

We're running Windows Messenger 5.1 on Windows Server 2003 Terminal
Services.  It works fine except for one issue.  We are seeing the user
status set to Away even though the user is actively engaged in work on the
session.  We're even seeing it set to Away when the user is actively ...

In the new MSN 7.0, it has a feature of displaying what songs you are
listening to in Windows Media Player...so i turned this on and it worked
great...but now it doesnt work...i have checked if it has been enabled and
it has been.....any ideas??

A friend of mine uses messenger, but when he's away from his pc, for say,
hours ... his status doesn't change to "away", even though that's the
setting and it is enabled.
Is there a way to force this to work.

I don't use Messenger, but I keep getting notices similar to "An
Application Change has been installed in the Startup Registry --

i have  a veo webcam, which worked fine on msn 6.2 and works ok with yahoo
messenger, but does not work with msn 7.0,anyone has the same problem, is

I'm unable to receive jpg files with my messenger.  I've disabled my xp
firewall, but they are being blocked ... message says they are considered
unsafe (or something like that).  Is there a way to unblock those files ...

Now I have got a problem that seems to be easy to solve ,but the
result was not as it schould be.
I want to receive some MP3-files from my friends, but when they start
