Messenger is showing me online when messenger isn't even running. How's that. It doesn't load when windows starts, it doesn't load when outlook starts and it doesn't load when Outlook express starts. How does that happen.

when i log into windows messenger on my pc and send an instant message to my sister the pop up box comes up on her pc showing that chris has just logged onto msn

I have MSN Messenger 7 working fine. I don't use Net Meeting at all any more. Can I uninstall it, in addition to getting rid of its icon, without disturbing MSN Messenger 7 at all?

At some point, a toolbar that I think came from Searchweb2.com got downloaded onto my computer and keeps locking itself at the bottom of my desktop whether I am on the net or not. I can't close it...the only way I can rid of it is to restart my computer only to have it show up ...

I would like to develop some plugins and APIs for messenger, but I cannot find any documentation or information about that. Can you please help me find such information? Where can I start? Can I use VS.NET for developing? (I intend to use c#). Any information you provide is great.

I have one laptop that when I launch NetMeeting, it flashes a black windows and then NetMeeting will start up. I am able to call another partner. However, the other partner shares the desktop to this laptop, the laptop will not see the shared window. It would be either crashes ...

I'm having problems with remote assistance requested from my Mums PC through MSN Messenger to my PC. She requests assistance, I accept and then nothing happens - I get a message saying it is connecting to her computer but it doesn't connect or timeout -

I can't login into MSDN site because the Passport feature is freezing IE6 and eventually casues a non-responing. Very frustrating that I can't login to sites when the Passport feature is DOWN. Ahh. Where is the accountablility for this - Billy?

I use Win XP Home and have installed Messenger 7.0. I installed this versin due to it's offering of more and frendlier functions. I understand that Win XP comes with Messenger 4.7. Is it better for the OS to use Messenger 4.7 or ver 7.0..?
