I am having problems installing Windows Messenger 5.1 on XP Pro SP2. It goes
through and gives me a message "This installation was interrupted. No changes
were made to your computer system. Please try running this application again.
Click the Finish button to close this wizard"..

I'm using Windows Messenger 4.7 on Windows XP Professional and it seems that
everytime i start the program and try to exit messenger from the taskbar it
gives me this error:

send a notification (alert) when a new email has been received on you

I have Windows Messenger 4.7 running on XP SP2 machine. I can see myself in
the webcam fine.  But when I want to have video conversation with both video
and audio together I got a blank screen displaying in my webcam and no video
is sent out the party I have requested a video ...

I've stopped msn messengers (V7) options, and deleted the item from the
registry, but it keep coming back (to the registry), and even when I can't
see messenger in the system tray, it is still running, as I have Trillian
running too, and my MSN user name is online.... I want it ...

I've recently install MSN 7.0 and my unblocked MSN contacts do no appear in
Outlook Express as either online or offline.  Previous versions of  MSN have
displayed my contacts.  Has anyone had this problem and know a solution?  Is
it a bug?

of Msn Messenger 7.......and everything still works
the same (!) except that audio quality is markedly
different, voice during videoconferencing sounds

At present I have the above version of Messenger. Each time that I log on to
the Internet I get a message asking if I want to update it. I have answered
'Yes' several times and it looks as if an update downloads but next time I
log on the pesky message reappears.

Hi, im wondering if anyone can help me figure out why my messenger wont come
up. I click on it and all it does is gives me the little egg timer and then
does nothing. Also when i try to do a remote assistance from the start menu
it come up with the message to get administrators ...

Can anyone point me to how to set up the NAT/Basic Firewall in Routing and
Remote Access on Windows Server 2003 so that Messenger on the XP client

For some reason, aliases in MSN Messenger 7 are not displayed, only a
person's e-mail address is.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling
with no success.   Any ideas?

I have downloaded one of the extra winks from MSN Messenger 7.0 and it shows
up under the list under My Winks. When I try to send it to a friend who I am
having a video conversation with, he can't see it. It shows up on my monitor
and I can hear it, but he can't see or hear ...
