when people try to send me emails my computer says (the name of the person)
tried to send you a file (name of picture.bmp). This file has been blocked
because it is potentially unsafe.. can anyone help mee?

We currently use messenger 5.1 with Exchange 2000 IM are there any other
clients available that would aloow a larger video screen size than IM5.1

Although I have checked the box "Sign me in automatically" at the Net
Messenger Service sign in pop up, the automatic sign in does not work - I

I know that some of them are to stop the virus from spreading, but other

Hello. no mater what I do, I can't have conversations using windows
messenger, only msn messenger. I made sure the right ports were opened, but
no go. I use a netgear router and windows xpsp2 and windows messenger 4.2.

We started exchanging instant messages and attempted to start voice chat
but were unable to get into it.  We opend 6901 for TCP/IC and UDP on
Linksys router which both of us were using, and disabled WXP's build in

Using Windows Messenger 5.1 on Exchange 2000.  I have one machine where I
can't get replies to messages.  Seems the my Online/Offline status
propogates just fine.  And I can send messages and people get them.  But
their replies never get back to my messenger window.  Any thoughts?

I've been having problems trying to remove backgrounds from msn messenger. I
added one yesterday but now I would like to remove it. Everytime I try to it
freezes up msn messenger and it doesn't let me do anything. It let's me
delete other backgrounds but not the one I added ...

I've searched the Windows Messenger website for webpage integration and
found nothing that states "how to" set up a online offline notification.
I've found reference to Yahoo Messenger, not Microsoft Messenger.
Any ideas?
