My kids want me to install MSN Messenger on their PC which has a

Using Outlook Remote assistance works just fine, but only allows the remote
assistor to view only the host screen by default. Where is the option to
allow the remote person to control jointly the host desktop? Or, is this not
a feature of RA ?

I've twice posted to this group recently about problems with Messenger 7.5
without any replies.
Is it something I've said, how I've phrased my query  .. or anything else.
Or is the age when you could look to UseNet for support coming to and end?

How can i turn off messenger so does not start when xp starts? I used
msconfig and unchecked in startup but then appears again on start up.

If I try and update 4.7 to 5.1 it breaks Acrobat reader !
Messenger 5.1 appears to install itself ok but when I next try and open the
Acrobat Reader the messenger installer runs again and I get this on screen

I am having problems when using my micropohne to make audio conversations in
MSN and Windows Messenger. It is not USB, just plugged into the audio port
and the microphone port on the PC. The microphone works fine for everything

Windows Messenger seems to think it has a "direct connection (no firewall)"

I have deployed LCS EE, and I have extended my AD schema, and now have a
'Live Communications' tab available in the properties of my domain user
accounts.  Among other things, these extended user properties include 'user
sign-in name'.  Can't I pass this value on to Windows ...

I tried using my original messenger that I have been using for some time.  I
was told by a popup that I had to upgrade.  Did the upgrade and now I can't
sign in at all.  Am I supposed to make a configuration change somewhere?

Since dowloading MSN Messenger 7.5 (build 7.5.0306) I have not been able to
sign in on my pc.
I have build 7.5.0299 on my laptop which is fine.

Yesterday I managed to get my webcam through Yahoo Messenger 7 working.
Since last night, when starting my webcam, I keep on getting the
message: "Sorry, you appear to be behind a firewall and are currently
unable to use the Yahoo! Webcam service."
