I moving from using Windows Messenger to Sametime. Windows saves it's contacts lists as a .ctt file and Sametime uses a .dat file. So I'm looking for a file conversion tool to change my lists from a ctt file to a dat file if possible.

Tell me MSN is rebuilding its fiel transfer to work like Skype's or anything that -- y'know WORKS. I tried those few weeks ago to get MSN's file transfer to wrok properly and every so often, it will work, and then, just like it did mere moments ago, one file will transfer fine, ...

I am using Mess 7.5, when connecting via voice, everything is OK, however can anyone tell me how I can play music to my contact, or receive from them. On Yahoo there is no problem, Is there a special setting for MSN? Bill Rose

I'm running Windows Messenger 5.1, but for some reason I can't send messages out from within Media Center. If someone sends to me i will receive their message, but when I try to reply the reply is never sent. So I also can't initiate a conversation from within Media Center.

my Internet connection is on 24/7 - ethernet-router-cable modem; however, I setup my machine to standby after some time. Is there a way to have Messenger to wake up the machine from stand by when receiving a message - from allowed contacts?

I am unable to display a hyperlink in a Windows Messenger conversation. I am running Messenger 5.1.0681... any ideas? Is this by design, or a bug? I know for a fact I was able to do it earlier in version 5.0.0481. HELP!!!

As long as I turn on my computer, I can get message from others without sign in messenger. Sometime it is very annoying. Is there anyway I can fix this?
