I know that this issue I am having is caused my Nortons, but I haven't been

Help please,  I can't log into MSN Messenger over wireles on laptop, but it
will work from another laptop on the same router. any ideas.  It was working
fine, then I connected to another network, when I came home and reconnected
to the wireless it wouldn't connect.

Windows Messenger help refers to a "sign-in name" but does not explain how to
create one.  I don't want people to need/have my email address to IM me, but
it seems the only way to sign into Windows Messenger is via an email address,
and no way to create a separate screen name or ...
