I have MS IM. I'd like to be able to turn it off and on MANUALLY. It seems
to always come on when I re-boot, and unless it's my imagination, it seems
to be turning itself on at other times too.

I use Messenger often, have WinXP Home, and the case is
that I must use Messenger in audio conversations using
the headphones as if I use the speakers, a horrible echo

My wife has suddenly become inundated with Spanish(Mexican) Hotmail accounts
asking to be added to her allow list.  Of course, she is Blocking them;
however, anyone know of a method to prevent this from happening in the first
place.  Need help badly!!!

Ok this is how the whole problem started:  A week ago I tried using my webcam
on MSN and it didnt work so I uninstalled MSN Messenger 7 I think and then
went on the messenger site and downloaded the setup file. It loads and then
comes up with this error:
