I've got a few people asking me whether or not users of MSN Messenger 7.5 will be "pushed" to Windows Live Messenger 8.0 (via the "A new version of Messenger is available" toast), or if they'll be able to stick with their MSN Messenger 7.5 client.

Hi there. I have two icons at the bottom right of my screen that say I have two messenger programs. A friend told me about 7.5 so I downloaded it and now I have two. How do I change it to only have 1 messenger icon without losing my contact names in the original one

There was at one time a totally web based version of messenger at messenger.msn.com. I have an account but want to use this version. It's not there any more. Where did messenger.msn.com go?

i'm using live messenger.. when other people try to talk me with msn/live messenger.. sometimes my computer is down.. mouse is live, keyboard is die when i click mouse button will system down.

I'm using MSN 7.5 and have had no problems until yesterday, then I noticed that all the display pictures of my contacts had changed to the default MSN ones and I could not see any of their custom emoticons either. However, my contacts can see my DP, emoticons w/o any problem.

When I turn on my computer my name is there along with the rest of the family and under my name it will say how many unread messages I have. Can you please tell me how to make that stop.
