Just curious as to why when someone goes offline....the tag line still stays
next to their name on my contact list.  Is this just because they are
appearing offline as opposed to really offline?  I've also found that if i
sign out then sign in again immediatly these little tag lines ...

I have posted twice about a problem I am having with Msger: once on 7/7 (part
of an already opened thread) and once on 7/22 (new separate thread).
THERE HAS BEEN NO RESPONSE..
Is this the level of support we consumers can expect from Microsoft?

When I boot my PC, yahoo messenger automaticaly comes up. I want the
darned thing to only come up when I want it to. How do I do this ? I
couldn't find an option or figure it out. If it won't let me, I may

I am extremely frustrated. I run a small business where MSN Messenger is our
main form of communication between employees. Unfortunately we have been

Is there any way to disable automatic logins in messenger on public computers?
I have disabled the options to "run the program when windows starts" and
"allow this program to run in the background".
Can the saved credentials be diabled permanently?

I cannot connect to any version of msn messenger or windows live messenger.
When the troubleshooter starts it says the host file has an error. it asks me

I use the above version of Messenger and I am having  problems of it signing
me in and out all of the time. I have been told to defragment the drive, disc
cleaning of drive c: I have checked that the norton firewall is not blocking

Since installing windows live messenger my sign in details no longer appear
after a reboot of my pc, even though I select remember me option. So each
time I restart and login I need to retype my email and password to sign in.
MSN 7.5 always remembered my details. Any ideas?
