Whenever someone sends me a file through MSN or even email.  I am able to
complete the download, however the file doesn't show up in the file that I
saved it in. I get no error messages or anything... I tried to open the file,

simple name? The email address was entered in error, and we can't touch the
name in the "profile" area as it is "greyed out".

is it possible to have a photo display of te contact you are egaging?

I have 2 HP printers, attached to 2 Hp Laptops, both of these printers
worked OK when they were on desktops.  Now that they are on laptops
they will not print green. One of them is blank, and the other prints
green in blue.  They are not low on ink, everything is as it should be.

We have recently received a business requirement to install Messenger for
chat purposes only. I am trying to find out all the capabilities of Messenger
5.1 so I can work on disabling everything but the chat feature. Other than
chat, these are the features I'm aware of:

I am running XP Home SP2 with MSN Messenger 7.5.
Do I need XO Pro ?
Need to initiate Remote Assistance.
Should I upgrade to MSN Live ?

I've just bought a new computer and I'd like to transfer all of my custom
settings for Windows Live Messenger - that is, fonts, backgrounds, images,
tabs and options.
I have tried copying over the Program Files folder and even the Documents

I made some changes to my Messenger settings to allow wireless connectivity
on my home Broadband connection.  Since the changes when I and cabled on my
woirkplace LAN I am unable to receive messages from anyone and they get a
messge cannot be delivered error.

No matter what I do windows messenger will not stay signed in any ideas any
one?

Been receiving this error message on and off lately ever since the last

Hi all, I noticed this problem on my Live Messenger (v8.0.0812.00)
since installing for two months:
after i logged off and restarted my comp, neither my backgrounds nor my
DP would not be saved. my personal message would also be changed back

i used to be able to use sharing folders, but now nothing is transferring
through this medium. any ideas?
