I have to manually sign in every 2-3 hours. For some reason I get dropped
(signed out) thoughout the day and have to sign in again. why?

When I go of to something else  Windows Live Messenger keeps signing off and
I have to sign on again.  Is there something I can do about it?

Since I have installed Windows Live Messenger, I have been having trouble
with Alerts and Sounds. Most of the time when I get News Alerts all I hear
is a click. While IMing and someone sends me a nudge, I hear nothing. When I
go to Tools\Options\Alerts and Sounds, and try to play ...

My Windows Messenger (5.1) keeps signing me off.  It happens every 20 minutes
or so.  I have tried changing the port (connections>proxy sever>http>port 80)
and encountered the same problems.  Any ideas?

Windows Messenger crashes every 3-5 minutes and presents me with the message
"Windows Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close".  It seems
to be related to msmsgs.exe 5.3.2600.2180 and Ksproxy.ax 4.7.0.3001.  
I'm running Windows XP with all the latest patches.

Hope somebody in here can give me an answer.
I have change my font in Messenger to different size and colour, but
now I can't see the font I'm using on my screen - I just se the
plain ordinary font.

Is it possible to obtain (even paying) for a version of Loive Meszsenger
that doesn't have the annoying adverts>

Is their a site that MS Messenger remote assistance can be tested?
Not having any success with computer I am testing with remotely.  All Sytem prompts allow remote access on both machines.
Any reference (checklist) for implementation would be appreciated.

what exactly does this do? can i disable it?

when i restarted my computer today, my msn messenger automatically logged
on/signed me in when i connected to the net.  I had it set up to load up,
but not log on automatically, and i had it set up so i would have to enter
my password each time.  Figured it was more secure this way. ...

It seems that people using MSN Messenger are not having the problem with
getting signed out but the people using Windows Messenger are..
the easy solution is to change over to MSN Messenger

Font of all members in the conversation appear to be plain black text in my
convo window but not on the convo window of other members of the convo or
other users on the computer. Do u o why this is?

I am still waiting for Microsoft to send me the link I need to verify my
email address for Windows Messenger but they haven't sent it to me.  Is there
any other way I can verify my email address please??

I finally got my mother to download the newest version of Windows messenger,
so that we could try using remote assistance. Windows live Messenger wouldnt
let her. Anyways now that we both have the same program, When she asks me for
remote assistance it says it cant connect ... ...
