i have all my sound for windows xp but when i go on messenger i have no
noification sounds and windows media player has picture but no sound.  If
anyone can help i would be so grateful as i been working on it all day with

Evertime I install Windows Live Messenger, it uses up all my CPU, and makes

  Until today messenger 7.5 worked like a charm, then this morning I
couldn't log in. So, I downloaded messenger 8. Now when I double click on the
icon nothing happens. But, if I go into task manager I see it there as a
process, but never as an application.

Everytime I turn on my computer, windows messenger dialogue box opens.  I
don't want it to.  I know I'm supposed to do run-misconfig-startup and remove
it, but I can't figure which one is it in the line up.  I don't want to
remove something important.
