   I would really like to use Window messenger for application sharing and
some of the other features.  I have read the Microsoft article about this
and I think I know the ports and everything but obviously I don't because I
can't get this working.  So please don't direct me ...

We have a need to talk 7-8 people in a meeting - and figured we could use
messenger for this ? - Is it possible ? - or is there any limitations to the
software that does this impossible ?
We tryed using skype - but it max. out with 5 users in one meeting

I'm having trouble w/ Windows Messenger logging in by itself while I'm using
Outlook Express.  I have the settings in Outlook's options menu so that
Messenger doesn't log in automatically...but it's doing it
anyway...sometimes.  It's really frustrating because I like to leave my

It's so weird. Me and my girlfriend are both using the Live Messenger
and we both have Logitech Quickcams (I have the "Messenger", she has
"For Notebooks Deluxe"). The video works perfectly, but she can't hear
me!! (?)

hey guys, I went to my cousin's house last night and he was talking to

I'd like to know if it's possible in MSN Messenger (and in WLM) to save
personal images of other users during chat sessions. I'm also interested
in saving webcam sessions too. If it's not possible, is there a way,
maybe using other programs, to do it?

Oh, my, I know this is an extreme newbie question but I am totally
illiterate on the celly.

ok..this has probably been posted tousands of times..but still.
I can't recieve any files over msn messenger?
I can send though.
Tried with both on (msn exception) and off firewalled.

I have just installed Microsoft's Lifecam VX 3000.
To get the feel of it I have been recording myself (vain) and have the
following problem. Although the room area is deathly quiet there is a lot of
background noise (hum)on  the recordings. Presumably any of my contacts will

I uninstalled the 4.7 version of Messenger from my computer when I downloaded
the 8.0.Then I read where it should have been left on there for certain
funtions to work properly in the 8.0.So far I've had no problems at all with
Windows Live Messenger but am concerned that I may ...

I have just installed Windows Live Messenger and was hoping to connect it to
my exisitng SIP account. I seem to have to go into a dialogue with
Microsofts preferred sip supplier. I don't need two 'sip addresses. Is there
anyway in or do I go and see if Yahoo offers the option
