I'm using Windows Live Messenger 8.1 and can't seem to find any way of changing
the font and font color for names in my contact list. Those tiny black letters
are harder to see than they should be and don't look very good anyway.
The only font controls I could find in Options are ...

Lately I have been having problems keeping connected with the latest version
of Windows Live Messenger... Not only it takes a long time to connect, but
shortly after it drops the connection, takes several minutes to reconnect,
and shortly after it reconnects, the cycle repeats ...

I'm running Office Communicator 2005 and trying to collaborate with a friend
who's running Windows Messenger 4.7 and Windows XP Professional - SP2.
Everytime my friend and I are IM'ing my friend drops her access every 5-10
mintues consistently and has to re-login into Messenger.

I have a webcam I use to 'talk' to my family overseas but I'm unable to hear
them during video conferencing. When I open All Programs/Entertainment it
does not appear the Volume Control option. Help please!

Well, the message to upgrade just got too annoying, so I decided to upgrade
my version to 7.5, I've tried multiple builds (306, 311 and 322) and they all
come up with an error "Signing in to MSN Messenger failed because the service
is temporarily unavailable. Please try again ...

just bought a new computer. uninstalled Windows Messenger and installed
Windows Live Messenger 8.1 on it but even if I tick the box
(tools,options,general,displaying my contacts,show display pictures from
others) I don't see any pictures. Does anyone know if that has something to ...

ican not sign in.it says there is an error and failing to initialize. itryed
to uninstall it and install it again and it didn't work.any other
sugestions???
