How can I turn off the Advertisement at the bottom of the Live Messenger
window?  If that's not possible, what do I need to block at the firewall to
prevent access and force the default "Windows Live Messenger" logo in place
of the ad?

Lately I've experience this error in which I was unable to send messages to
my contacts who are clearly online.  For every messages I send, I will
receive a respond which says:
"The following message could not be delivered to all recipients:..."

I'm running Windows Live Messenger 8.1 and can connect to the Messenger
service, view presence, send IMs, etc... all OK however the connection
regularly drops in and out. It auto-reconnects OK but it is frustrating.

problem: my buddies cannot hear me when i connect to audio in msn

When I run Norton Sytem works, I get a registry error "C:\ProgramFiles\MSN
Messenger\MSN MSGR.Exe. can not access a neccessary file. MS vcr80dll" Msn
messgr. seems ok, but what do I do re the file?

I keep getting a message that there is a new version of Messenger do I want
to download.  I click no do not ask me for 2 weeks or what ever BUT I don't
ever want the new version - I am happy with the one I have - How do I
permanently stop this warning?  Help anyone!

Does Windows Messenger have a future roadmap?
It seems that MSN Messenger, or Windows Live Messenger, have replaced
Windows Messenger for the consumer.  And, Communicator has replaced Windows
Messenger for corporate users because of its ties to Exchange and LCS.
