I've recently installed Winxp Home sp1 and sp2 from Microsoft updates and IE 7 finally. Due to some problems (malfunctions) i intend to repair the Windows. Can I repair the installation booting from CD (changing the booting sequense in Setup)

I have Windows XP and my friend has Windows Vista. We both have the same version of Windows Live messenger. I am having a problem connecting to her computer remotely. Is it because we have different versions Windows??

In msn 7.5 I have larger icons/pictures of my contacts in contacts list, but now in msn 8.0 or 8.1 I cant set that icosn any latger, they are just small and without pictures, just green or red. Does new versions of messenger even support larger icons?

I go to Kiwee live messenger and I am unable to download the winks. emoticion, dynamic backrgeoundd etc. Could you please help me with this problem

On my windows messenger all my contacts are now missing so I cannot see status, etc. If I look in tools \| options \| privacy I can see them there and they can IM me ... any ideas? , do you need more info?
