I just added  Mac to my home network, and I can't visit Hotmail from Safari
or Opera on it, although Firefox on the Mac does take me there.  I can still
visit Hotmail from all three on my PC.  I have long had an account with a
Windows Live ID.

i have messenger v7.0 on windows 98
sometimes i'd like to speak with unknown people
(that is without knowing the email address)
mainly for solving technical pc problems

Does someone know how to get Messenger to work behind and OpenBSD PF

Know how you could make the contacts bigger and smaller in live Messenger

I just want to get rid of this pop-up message from WinXP Messenger.  It never
sends the confirmation email to my box.  Then I thought I'd out smart it and
install what I thought was just an upgrade and now I have Win Live Messenger
as well.  I don't need both! May not want ...

I have unchecked the preferences, I have deleted the .Net pasport in the
password manager.  Still every time I start Outlook express Messanger starts.
Is there a patch that will stop this?

i have 2 gigs of ram installed but applications wont launch once 1 gig is
used up.
The performance monitor never shows more then 1 gig of memroy used up, yet

I want to create dynamic Display Picture for my Windows Live Messenger 8.5
I tried to see help it says goto Tools > Change Display Picture and therew
ill be a link to dynamic pictures.. But there is no such link there.

My daugther wants access to instant messenger, but I am concerned that
her friends could invite her to conversations with people that are not
in her contact list. Is there any way to control a multi-way
conversation?

On Messenger, is there a registry setting or a means of stopping the program
from closing.

I'm on Windows XP Pro SP1 and was previously using Windows Messenger
5.1 without any problems. I recently installed Office Communicator
2007 for work and used it for a day. Then I decided that Office
Communicator web access provided enough of the functionality I needed

I'm sure I was able to type a message to an offline contact and it gave an
option that the message would be sent when the person signed in. Cannot now
find how to do this.
