I have a great little JVC DVL-100 MiniDV camera and have
downloaded my tapes to Windows movie maker 2
successfully.

Its taken ALOT of time, but I think I have figured out what the problem is.
It seems that my DV codec is outputting the audio at 48khz instead of 44.1.
I don't think windows Movie Maker supports 48khz audio, and thus I get this
bad quality.  I ripped a track from a cd at 48khz, and ...

Whenever i try and add a image transition or affect onto a clip Windows Movie Maker 2 always shuts down on me.
Does anyone know why and how to stop this from happening so i can create something without it crashing on me?

New XP Pro install.
I know that MM1 was working at some point as I used it to test video capture
from my Radeon VIVO after updating it's drivers as part of the install.
I then went on to install/update other drivers etc. for additional hardware,

I had made a video tutorial to put on my website and the file extensions that are made are either .wav or .mswmm.  My website only accepts .avi .mov or mpeg .  Is there a way to change the file extension or choose it before it gets saved?
