2 quick questions.....
i) is there a way to seperate the preview pane and move
it to a second monitor display? I would obviously require
a second or dual video card and an additional monitor. Is
WMV to MPG-2 or DVD08 Mar 2004 10:16 GMT4
Can anyone recommend software to convert WMV format to Mpeg-2?  Or better
yet just burn to a DVD in one step.
I have tried Ulead DVD and Roxio Easy DVD Creator.

When I try from an analog camcorder to edit a film ( in WMM ) which includes panning  the play back is jerky as if each second frame is missing. What am I doing wrong? is there any way of overcoming this without buying a digital camcorder?

My computer came with a default movie maker for windows xp
home edition, when I looked online and upgraded to movie
maker 2, I seem to have a small problem, because the

The Help menu can't be found on C drive.  Can anyone help please

Sometimes when I go to this newsgroup it opens with the
issues all collapsed, sometimes they are all expanded.
Sometimes the Collapse All or Expand All button is there,

I use to run MM2 fine with no problems. I recorded a VHS
tape off of a VCR and then I did some work with a DVD
from a DVD player. I didn't touch it for a week then when
I come back it gives me this error message.

I am still having problems.  It appeared to create the video, but the video froze a minute into the video.  It appears to have to do with memory management.  Anyone have any advice?

when i put a film on my storyboard/ timeline to edit it and go too play it back i can hear the sound but see no picture does anyone know how to solve this problem. Iam using Xp Home edition. Thanks
