I have made a slideshow on mm2 with music and I want to
burn it to DVD (burner=Plextor DVD-+r/rw). How do I change
the extension from mswmm (the only choice in the save as:
dialog box) to avi or whatever can be seen by my machine.

I edited a 4-minute long movie with about 60 clips (2 with effects), no transitions and about 3 text screens. It is based on about 3Gb videofiles, mainly in the format DV-avi. Moviemaker often crashed during the edit and when I was finished I ran into the problem described by ...

I am using a Radeon 7500 video card.  I have an extension
cable that came with the card the one end plugs into the
input on the card.  The other end has an S-Video and 3
RCA jacks for video and audio.  My camcorder has a cable

Whenever I attempt to capture video from my camera in the
DV-AVI format, I get an error stating that it was unable
to capture the video.  If you look at the MM2 screen, it
appears as though there is not a tape in my camera.

In MM2 I almost have my movie made and I want to increase
the duration time of the pictures.  Is there a way to
apply this to all of them or does it have to be done to
each pic.

Still can't work out how to save my movie as anything other than .wmv file. If you select save movie you get several options i.e. copy to computer and copy to recordable CD etc. so how do I save as a DV-AVI file?

When I started playing with MM2 I was reminded of my Dad and his cine

I finally got MM2 to work with my USB Hauppauge tuner.  I had to switch from
digital audio to analog using the sound card to get it to work.  So I set
about to capture my first movie.  For two and a half hours it captured.
Then it spent TWO HOURS saving that two and a half hours!  ...
