I cannot capture a 60 minute tape from my Canon Elura 60 to my Dell laptop (Windows XP) because every time my computer shuts off during the process.  It happens sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes 30 minutes.  It just shuts off.

I'm getting close to finishing my first video. It's about an hour
long. At present it's split into 4 smaller projects and I'm saving

I have burned one DVD and had no issues doing it after creating the movie in MM and then burning with Sonic. THis time, I'm having trouble. I've created the file and am trying to bring it in to Sonic but Sonic doesn't recognize MM files. And, MM won't let me "save as" anything ...

When I try to capture a TV signal through my camcorder, Windows Movie Maker starts my camcorder playing.  I want to capture TV to burn to DVD.
Any Ideas?

PS I can usually disable automatic control in other programs to allow capturing, but can't find that option on Windows ...

My Movie maker is taking forever to create a movie.  It
estimates around 200 min. and the stalls when there is
about 20% left.  I wanted to reinstall the program
thinking I had some sort of bug but couldn't find a way
