When I tried to burn my movie to CD, a message inicated some outrageous amount of minutes, like 2316215. How can that be?

I would like to create some cool custom effects and transition for Windows
Movie Maker by using the Metacreations DirectX transforms. These used to be

Maker 2.  File exports at 43.3 MG  When I try to open

i am trying to record a audio video file with moviemaker.
i can get the video, but no audio.
i have an intel web cam.
i tested my mike with the sound recorder and it works fine.

I open Win Movie Maker, but within seconds I get a message that there's an error - it doen't specify the error - and the message gives me the option to send to MS or not. Of course, I send.
I 've downloaded the program again, but I encounter the same problem.

the rename codecs thing only half worked i did it so it would quit saying this progam has encountered a problem blah blah blah so now it quits when i import something

can someone pls tell me where i can find MyDvD is it for free?

Allfunctions work fine until I click "Import Video".  Then the program shutsdown.

I have a Dell Laptop (Latitude D600) with USB Inputs (not high spreed) and a PCMCIA Firewire hub. How can I connect a VCR to this PC so that Movie Maker will see the device for capturing the Video?
Tying to create a DVD for my parents 50th!!!!

When i open my movie maker project it opens fine.  I can do everything except when i go to make a title or click anything on the timeline or storyboard it just shuts down.  Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?
