Even if I'm not working on anything, movie maker keeps
freezing.  I found out that even if I open up the
program, leave it alone for a while, and come back to it,
it's locked up and I can't do anything but shut it down

When you talk about deleting one half of the project (in
order to split the project up into smaller working pieces)
do you delete each individual picture and effect one by
one or is there a way of selecting the whole section and

What is the best way to get the highest quality video from a SONY micro DV camera. I have Sony Movieshaker which works, but is there any way of pulling this straight into MM2. Also, if you pull it into MovieShaker which is the best Export Format to use.

My raw files are AVI from a Canon Digital IXUS i. They
import well into MM2. But when I start to clip pieces out
of them funny things happen: The first splits always
work, but after 2-3 clips the word "Split" shows grey in

I have a very large project which I've been working on consistenly for the
last week.  Creates about 4gb of AVI when I create the move.  Now today I
try to open the project and it blows up about 75% through the Open Project -

I am trying to copy video to cd. When I hit connect I
get  ( capture device not detected)  I have set camcorder
properly and downloaded what came with camera. What am I
doing wrong

New to MM. Have downloade videos. When reviewing clips, they are jumpy/jittery in the preview pane. The test movie I made plays ok in Windows Media Player 9.0.

After I did the tutorial I went into Accesories/movie
maker and launched the application. In the tutorial there
was a drop down that let you pick Audio, video or Audio
and Video. When I went into to the App it only game me

Is it possible, through "moviemaker" to copy vinyl albums
to CD's?  Could the turntable be plugged into the back of
the computer and subsequently be burned onto the CD or do

I have FINALLY figured out how to save in mm2. Thanks papa john for your help on your web site.....it seemed a little confusing at first but once I started splitting up my project it worked like a charm. My project was 224 mb long....I found that when I split it into two pieces ...
